Jacobs Clinic is a private mental health clinic that provides diagnosis and treatment for Adult, Child and Young Persons ADHD and Autism assessment for adults. The Clinic also provides treatment for substance use disorders like opioid dependence, alcohol dependence, diazepam dependence, cocaine misuse etc. On behalf of the NHS, we have a contract with Salford locality of Greater Manchester ICB for provision of services for Adult ADHD.
At Jacobs Clinic we have a team of specialist doctors and therapists led by our Medical Director Dr George Jacob - Puthenpurayil. Dr Jacob trained in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He has over twenty years’ experience in psychiatry. He has held senior medical leadership positions like Clinical Director and Medical Lead for community drug and alcohol treatment teams.
The Clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). It was inspected and rated good on 7 November 2022. The clinic is also compliant with the General Medical Council (GMC) code of good medical practice and with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Guidelines for diagnosing ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. Our reports are recognised by the NHS and other statutory organisations.
Adult ADHD assessments and Autism assessments are done either online or face to face and initial Child ADHD assessments are done face to face. Treatment options and the costs will be discussed during the enquiry.
