Welcome to Jacobs Clinic

Jacobs Clinic is a private Mental Health Clinic inspected and rated GOOD by the

Care Quality Commission (CQC) that provides diagnosis and treatment for Adult, Child and Young Persons ADHD. The Clinic also provides services on behalf of the NHS and has a contract with Salford locality of Greater Manchester ICB for provision of services for Adult ADHD. All doctors at Jacobs Clinic are GMC registered specialist doctors who have trained in the NHS and now work in the NHS and/or the private sector.

QbTech

At Jacobs Clinic we have both QbCheck and QbTest. These tests from QbTech are recognised by NICE, FDA – cleared and CE - marked ADHD tests for use in patients aged 6-60.

  • Buprenorphine (Subutex)

  • Buprenorphine prolonged injection (Buvidal)

Home Opioid Detox for Painkiller Addiction

4 - 6 weeks medically assisted detox at home using Buprenorphine

Our home alcohol detox programme has three stages: 

  • Stage 1 - Preparation (1 to 2 weeks) 

  • Stage 2 - Detox (1 week) 

  • Stage 3 – Aftercare (6 to 12 months)

National shortage of some ADHD medications
You may have heard that there is a national shortage of some types of ADHD medicines. The supply has improved for Elvanse and we are able to start patients on this if indicated. This includes children and young persons. We are continuously monitoring the situation and supporting our patients through their treatment journey.
